Kaleidoscope Nursery are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to make the most of this wonderful opportunity. There are plenty of skills and lots of experience to be gained for the right candidate. You will work and interact directly with children on a day-to-day basis. Duties will include; Planning activities to support children’s education Cleaning and preparing play and eating areas Developing staff and parent relationships

What you will do in your working day
Our new apprentice will be responsible for the day-to-day care of individuals and groups of children.
You will undertake all aspects of childcare including:
- Personal care needs
- Planning activities to support children’s education
- Cleaning and preparing play and eating areas
- Developing staff and parent relationships
You will need to work well individually and be able to follow instructions as well as use your own initiative.
You will need to be capable of learning on the job and showing that you have learnt tasks by carrying them out independently when trained.
This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
- End Point Assessment: Knowledge Test & Professional Discussion
- On and off the job training and location to be confirmed

- Progression to Early Years Educator Apprenticeship (Level 3)
