What you will do in your working day
- Cleaning kennels and cat pens
- Socialising the dogs
- Meet and greet with customers and their animals
- Giving medication
- Taking bookings from customers
- Ensuring all welfare of the animals are up to a high standard while in our care
The training you will be getting
- You will receive a Level 2 certificate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
- All active learning will take place within the workplace
- Your dedicated trainer coach will visit every 4 weeks
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Possible permanent employment if available
- The kennels have a canine hydrotherapy and grooming parlour, in which apprentices are welcome to be involved
