    Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 4.30pm, Friday, 8.00am - 1.30pm. Structure may vary slightly dependent on course times.

What you will do in your working day

Reporting to the Site Accountant, the Finance Apprentice will have numerous responsibilities, including:

  • Purchase invoice processing
  • Dealing with non-complex purchase and sales invoice queries
  • Reconciling customer statements
  • Posting customer receipts from the bank
  • Maintaining and preparing accounting spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • A range of general finance admin tasks where required
  • Assisting the wider finance team where required
  • Growing complexity of tasks and responsibilities appropriate to your level of training and development

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard
  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
  • Support and training will be provided on our bespoke, in-house systems as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Training will take place once per week at Grantham College, Stonebridge Road, Grantham, NG31 9AP

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • From Finance Apprentice to Chartered Accountant, ADS will support the right person after having completed their AAT’s on the path towards completing ACCA or CIMA should they wish to progress to this level
