We're looking for an accounting apprentice. You'll learn about all aspects of bookkeeping for a company from invoice processing to reconciliations. We're a friendly team and have already supported several apprentices through to completion of their qualification, with potential for a full-time job offer at the end.

What you will do in your working day
- Book & records control: obtain and record daily business transactions/documents
- Purchase/Sales ledger-processing & analysis invoices before posting into accounting systems
- Tracking intercompany transactions
- Contacting suppliers/clients/third parties for information
- Processing cashbook entries and maintaining cashbook and bank reconciliations
- Supporting for month end close and reconciliations
- Other tasks as required by business need including:
a. Client profitability calculations
b. VAT returns
c. Collating pay information
d. Provision of cover for other finance team members
The training you will be getting
- You'll get an AAT level 3 qualifcation through our training provider
- You'll work 4 days a week in the office, and 1 day a week in college
- Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- There is the possibility to convert to a full-time position in the finance team
