Things to consider

Long periods on your feet. You must be happy being busy as this will be front of house, welcoming guests and looking after their requirements, be it a children's party or a general day in the cafe. This is a Pink Paradise so must be happy in this environment & welcomes families and children. Must be able to work through the busy half-term periods.

About the employer

A picture perfect cafe where everything is pink is attracting crowds to the strangest of settings. Pink Island Cafe is inside an industrial unit the size of a soft play centre in a Stockport business park. It opened its doors in February and is part of the P.Louise Makeup Academy, which offers courses for people wanting to hone their skills with the cosmetics it sells largely online. But whether you're booked on a course or not, the cafe is open to everyone - and word is quickly spreading that it's well worth a visit. Great menu for breakfast and lunch. Does not serve alcohol but does serve up delicious milkshakes and drinks. After lunch, you can browse the magical looking make up and body products from P.Louise Makeup brand. You have to book in advance and it's certainly not your typical cafe experience. You have to buzz to get inside the place for a start, firstly at the barrier and again at the main door. The rather dull exterior gives nothing away about the pink paradise within.
