The job holder will work within the Speedflo and Optix section of the R&D department, responsible for assembling circuit boards and other electronic equipment and ensuring that components are prepared, assembled and tested to internal quality standards and within required customer deadlines.

What you will do in your working day
· Benchfitting: prepare parts/surfaces & check component parts for quality issues prior to assembly
· Accurate assembly of Speedflo & Optix, using assembly schematics & instructions, in a cleanroom-type environment
· Components assembled and tested to internal quality standards in a timely and efficient manner
· Use testing equipment as part of the quality control procedure to verify accurate assembly
· Works within, and follows, established systems and processes
· Documentation of assemblies and testing
· Other software and testing tasks after suitable training & development
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Manufacturing
- Training will be 1 day a week at Mtc Liverpool
- The remaining 4 days will be at Gencoa
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- Progression on to BTEC level 3 in engineering
