What you will do in your working day

  • We’ll show you in depth how we write programmes to control robots confidently to carry out different applications such as, welding, handling and sealing - all which contribute to our manufacturing process to ensure quality new JCB products
  • You’ll see how we continuously improve our processes through the automation and introduction of new products to the robot systems working alongside our Engineering department
  • You’ll gain knowledge on how to monitor and improve overall quality performance, attending production meetings to ensure issues are contained, investigated and resolved, analysing opportunities for improvements are identified, through utilising cutting- edge technology
  • Real, technical skills learned in an accessible, practical way designed to get you thinking creatively about all our processes

  • 1 Day per week

Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will likely move into a Robot Programmer role.
