What you will do in your working day
This position can be for a rider or non rider. Opportunities to attend shows. All general horse care duties required including:
- Mucking Out
- Grooming
- Lunging
- Turning out
- Show Prep
The training you will be getting
- Equine groom Level 2 apprenticeship standard
- Functional Skills in maths and English if required
The successful candidate can expect to undertake a minimum of 12 months' training which will take place out at the employer's premises, with the support of the employer, and will be carried out by Haddon Training.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- A full time position or progression onto the advanced apprenticeship (level 3) may be available after completion
