What you will do in your working day
Duties for the Business Administration apprentice will include:
- Communicating with clients in writing and over the telephone, in the UK and internationally
- Protection of personal and business information
- Checking compliance with financial service rules
- Producing client information pack, and updating client records using computers and IT systems
- Assisting with planning promotional events
- Basic book keeping and managing stationery supplies and orders
You will be given full training on all areas and the relevant IT systems, so proficient IT skills are helpful, along with a good standard of English and maths.
You will learn from onsite mentors and will be given full support to achieve your apprenticeship.
The training you will be getting
Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard:
This is an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration and will include a combination of on and off the job training in the workplace. You will have monthly mentoring and guidance at work from a Craven College Learning & Development Advisor and monthly online seminars.
After approximately 18 months you will be entered to undertake an End Point Assessment, to complete your apprenticeship.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
On completion of the program, the apprentice will have the opportunity to obtain permanent employment and further training to enhance their skills and increase their responsibilities.
