What you will do in your working day

To supervise and provide support for pupils, including those with
additional needs and including those in the Specialist Resourced
Provision as directed, ensuring their safety and access to learning
activities.
● To establish high expectations of what each child can achieve and
promote self-esteem and independence.
● To provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and
achievement under the guidance of the teacher.

The training you will be getting

You will gain a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

You will do your training at home, the workplace or Twickenham Training Centre.

This will be one day a week.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

You can progress to become a full time teaching assistant, learning support assistant or supervisor.
