The salon is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am - 8pm. On Fridays 9am - 8pm, and on Saturdays 8am - 3pm. Shifts are to be confirmed.

What you will do in your working day
- Reception duties
- Receive and welcome clients

- Cleaning various equipment - tint brushes/bowls

The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals Hairdressing Standard
- All apprentices will complete the core skills and knowledge (Part 1) and will choose the occupational option route for hairdressing or barbering (Part 2) Part 1 – Mandatory core skills and knowledge for hairdressing
- Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level and apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to take the tests for this level prior to taking the End-Point- Assessment
- Training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis and when required
- You will be required to attend Dudley College premises one day per week to work towards your Apprenticeship Standard Qualification
- An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Continual assessments, coupled with assignments/or exams depending on course of study. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week
- At the end of your training, you will sit an exam and submit course work as part of your assessment, and you will receive a Level 2 qualification
