What you will do in your working day

We are searching for a motivated and dedicated individual with a passion to join the automotive industry and become a valued member of the team. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate skills in logic and problem solving. You should be someone who pays attention to detail and is committed to completing the entire training programme. Some of your duties will include:

• Use of diagnostic equipment and methods to identify vehicle faults

• Use of ECU remapping equipment also including coding and updating software

• Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are examined

• Servicing and repair work

• Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension

• Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for workshop records

• Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment Expected

The training you will be getting

Full in house training to be provided towards the successful completion of the Level 2 AutoCare Technician programme which includes Maths and English Functional Skills at Level 1/2 if applicable.

  • Extensive electronic skills will be gained including in house training with a soon to be master technician. Future investment into training after apprenticeship
