Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

Working week
4/5 Days a week across Monday - Friday. Times and days to be confirmed but you will be working day shifts between 7.30am - 6.00pm. Minimum of 30 hours a week.

What you will do in your working day
The duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the children in their day to day routines
- Planning and providing the children with learning and play activities to extend their development
- Observing the children and contributing towards observations and learning journeys
- Supporting the children in the outdoor play area, ensuring learning is brought outside
- Helping and supporting the children at mealtimes throughout the day
- Keeping the children safe at all times
- Any other duties required by the manager
- Having lots of fun with the children
The training you will be getting
- Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set by Government for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old
- This is a knowledge based course with practical aspects that will need to be demonstrated
- You will complete an end point assessment where you will take a knowledge test and professional discussion underpinned by a portfolio
