What you will do in your working day

Our client has a fantastic new opportunity for a Business Administration Apprentice who has great communication and organisational skills and is looking to join a fast-paced technical environment.

The company is a leading provider of production line automated solutions based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. As a successful candidate you will support the business in customer communication using our specially designed CRM, arranging imports and exports, delivering email marketing campaigns, processing orders and service contracts alongside general administration duties to support the delivery of an innovative customer journey experience.

Customer interaction will come from inbound customer enquiries by email, phone and social media. You will also gain experience in content creation.

Key duties will include:

  • Assisting the digital marketing team in delivering email campaigns via our Marketing Automation Software
  • Assisting with stock control and conducting quarterly stock take report
  • Following up on leads from marketing activity – conducting reports on its efficiency
  • Monitoring and Reporting on Website Engagement
  • Working with Director’s Assistant to develop company processes and procedures via our custom CRM system
  • Management of customer databases ensuring that they are up to date at all times
  • Processing sales proposals for the sales team
  • Responding to customer queries via phone and email
  • Processing sales orders and other customer requests
  • Other duties as supporting the requirements of the wider business

Candidate Requirements:

  • Grade 5/B in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly word, excel and teams
  • A professional approach to working life and ability to work in a small internal and friendly team
  • Confident, Organised and Punctual
  • Keen in digital marketing and willingness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment

This role will be supported by Starting Offs Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship qualification and 20% off-the-job training.
