  • Our busy branch is looking for a highly motivated apprentice to join their Branch team. An efficient, well organised trade counter, warehouse and customer support service are pivotal for ensuring we provide the exceptional customer service our clients know us for

 After full training your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients)
  • Picking and Packing
  • Store transfers & stock control
  • Goods in / Goods out
  • Trade Counter Sales and Order - dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Taking payments and dealing with enquiries
  • Answering the phone to customers, suppliers and other branches
  • Sales office - basic admin, processing orders and sales calls
  • This is an exciting progression role where you will start in the Warehouse and then move into all the other areas of the business. As an Apprentice, EDA Apprenticeships Plus will employ the successful candidate on behalf of the Branch. The training you will be getting

Completing a Level 2 Trade Supplier Apprenticeship standard, consisting of:

  • Knowledge and competence qualification in trade supplier at Level 2
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required
  • End-Point Assessment (EPA) - final test and observation
  • The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams. The vocational training and assessment is conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employers wishes
  • Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit. Training and assessment is conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner. Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner

Things to consider

You will be required to complete a 10 minute personality assessment via email before the 1st Interview which will be online via zoom/teams, Interview will be 20 minutes and if successful at this stage you will be invited into the branch to meet the Branch Manager. Dates to be confirmed if successful at this stage,
