What you will do in your working day
A grooms position has become available at top show jumping yard and competition centre. They are looking for a highly motivated team player to join their team.
Must have previous experience working with big fit horses including stallions. Fast paced yard. Must be passionate about the sport. Mature, reliable candidate is needed as some sole charge responsibilities.
Key responsibilities would be:
- Daily yard duties
- Looking after the horses to a high standard
- Possibility of grooming at shows for the right person and once trained.
- Opportunity to learn from the best.
The training you will be getting
- A level 3 Senior Equine Groom certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the apprenticeship
- Functional Skills if required
- All training will take place within the workplace
- Your dedicated trainer coach will visit you at work every 4 weeks.
