What you will do in your working day

This vacancy offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to provide administration support to the Fire and Security team in an interesting and varied role.

Your duties will include some of the following:

  • You would assist with scheduling work for engineers as well as providing telephone support to our existing customers as well as sales advice to potential clients
  • Answering phone calls and providing assistance as necessary
  • Booking and routing service calls for our engineers and surveyors
  • Typing emails and letters and other documents as necessary
  • Liaising and confirming appointments via e-mail
  • Accurate inputting of data onto the system
  • Learning and using the Quality Management System
  • Liaising with the monitoring centre and police forces

The training you will be getting

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • On the job training - to support role development
  • Off the job training - remote training/support and site visits
  • Employer to offer dedicated training time to support off the job training requirements
  • Functional Skills support - maths/English - if required
