What you will do in your working day

To work in the shop dealing with the following

  • Customers both face-to-face and on the telephone
  • General admin work
  • Keeping records
  • job sheets 
  • invoices
  • Perform computer maintenance/repairs on PCs, laptops and tablets
  • Printers etc
  • Assist customers remotely

The training you will be getting

  • Day release at Telford College to enhance learning
  • Mentor on site to support with day-to-day learning
  • Regular assessor visits to develop qualification 
  • Work towards City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • As part of the apprenticeship, the candidate will be working towards a qualification with Telford College. The candidate will have progression to complete additional qualifications once completed
