What you will do in your working day

  • Support the class teacher in the delivery of targets set within the
    support plan/EHCP and contribute to the content of annual reports
  • Prepare and routinely maintain classroom materials, for the
    assigned pupil’s use
  • Under guidance from the teacher, provide feedback to pupils
    relating to progress and achievement, whilst setting challenging
    and demanding expectations, promoting self-esteem and
    independence

The training you will be getting

  • You will gain a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • The training will take place at home, your workplace or Twickenham Training Centre
  • This will be one day a week
