What you will do in your working day
- Office: Keep up to date records for HMRC of all imports & exports. Ensure correct commodity and procedure codes are used on all imports/exports. Raise invoices and credits as required
- Review internal processes and document for ISO9001 and AS9100 compliance, updating procedures and SOP’s as required. Check and code for accounts invoices relating to shipping
- Despatch: Pick and pack parts for shipping to customers and sub-contractors. Arrange transport with carriers, raise invoices and advise customers
- Goods In: Receiving deliveries (barrier operation), unloading vehicles, unpacking, and checking against paperwork, investigating discrepancies, and discussing with purchasing, booking in of parts and orders using EFACS. Delivering parts to Inspection and other depts
- Counter: Picking and packing of parts for other depts., issuing parts from stock. Receiving parts from Inspection, machine shop & sub assy booking in of parts using efacs., Assigning stock locations to parts
- Stock checking throughout the year, general house keeping, and any other duties that may be requested from time to time to support your own or other departments

- Training at Northampton College Booth Lane
- Training will be one day a month
