What you will do in your working day

Duties will include:

  • Assisting in rooms with all duties on daily routine
  • Caring for children
  • Assisting with meals
  • Playing
  • Administration as required
  • Following EYFS
  • Sfeguarding awareness
  • First Aid awareness
  • Liaising with parents
  • Teamwork
  • Customer service

The training you will be getting

  • Early Years Practitioner Standard
  • In house training
  • Functional Skills maths/English if required

Training will take place on a weekly basis. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

For the right person, there is the opportunity to progress to higher level qualifications such as Level 3 Early Years Educator.

Bookie’s Babes is a friendly nursery and they look after children aged between 3 months to 2 and half years +. Bookie’s Babes premises has expanded to accommodate a brand new sleep room and changing facilities, a baby room (from 3months – 18months) and a room for toddlers (18months- 2 and a half years +).
