What you will do in your working day
Caring for the overall appearance of a golf course, maintaining a good quality playing surface and ensuring a challenging and enjoyable experience for golfers. Your tasks to include:
- Mowing
- Raking bunkers
- Moving markers
- Leaf clearance
- Construction work on course
- Fertilising
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Golf Greenkeeping Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- Weekly day release into Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA)
- An assessor will visit you in the workplace every 8-12 weeks
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Possibility of permanent employment if the apprentice does well in the role.
