What you will do in your working day

  • Planning and executing activities for the children to learn and develop
  • Changing nappies and getting involved in healthy eating and cleaning
  • Interact positively with children, parents, visitors and other staff members
  • Meeting and greeting of children and parents

The training you will be getting

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Apprentices must successfully complete a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
  • Training will be a combination of on the job experience and independent learning with the training provider offering online and face to face support
  • In addition to which our ethos for continuous professional development means that there will be support from the team who have a breadth of experience and are highly qualified
  • Apprentices must successfully complete a first aid qualification in line with the requirements of the EYFS Framework
  • Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking their end point assessment

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

To gain your qualification as a qualified early years educator, with the possibility to progress to a full-time job, subject to interview
