What you will do in your working day

Involving a high level of IFA and customer interaction (telephone calls and emails) your tasks may include (but are not limited to):

  • Helping our customers with the administration of their investments (accurately maintaining and updating both paper based and electronic records)
  • Administering funds for transfers in / out of the business including cash and non-cash assets
  • Supporting Financial Advisers with AJ Bell's investment products

The training you will be getting

Investment operations specialist Level 4.

You will enjoy a tailored introductory training programme when you join AJ Bell's Apprenticeship Academy. This will give you the chance to get to know our business and develop your skills before you join your team.

You will also develop strong IT skills, working with Microsoft packages, and our in-house systems and the ability to support our customers. We will provide ongoing training, development and mentoring to support you with your personal professional and career development.

You will work towards a Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment qualification and complete in-house professional development training.
