Working week
Typical working week will be 8am - 4pm , Monday to Friday. Some work may involve travelling so start time maybe earlier and finish could be later. As working week could be longer than 40 hours this role is for an 18+ year old.

What you will do in your working day
- Working alongside myself (business owner) to learn new skills .
- Apprentice will be encourage to get hands on with tasks.
- Apprentice will learn how to manage jobs, ordering of materials, process of how jobs run.
- Installing heating systems.
- Maintenance work on taps, toilets etc.
- Installing basins, toilets and baths.
- Gas work.
The training you will be getting
Apprentice will at the end of there course earn a Level 3 Plumbing & Heating Technician.
Training will be at Highbury Campus - City of Portsmouth College.
It will be one day a week training at the college.
Functional skills if required.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
The apprentice will be encourage once finished their training to have more independance by running and managing jobs on their own. Futher training can be provided to the apprentice should it be necessary to futher their career.
