Apprentice Chef REC ROOM BARS LTD
We are looking for an apprentice to come on with us to work with our Head Chef, cooking/plating during service. Our produce is ordered fresh daily and we offer international tapas style food, which gives any apprentice the opportunity to gain a wider knowledge of different cuisines. Our small team will offer one-to-one tuition, meaning our focus will be solely on developing you.

What you will do in your working day
Duties include but not limited to:
- Daily Prep with fresh produce
- Working on menu development on our seasonally changing menu
- Cooking/Plating during service
- Keeping up to date and learning everything to do with EHO and H&S in a food environment
The training you will be getting
Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
- Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Relevant training will be provided through Lancaster and Morecambe College
- Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- We will be looking to offer full-time employment beyond apprenticeship and develop into Sous Chef
- Potential to relocate to Manchester to take over the kitchen down there
