Site carpentry apprentices are required for varied site work in and around the Bournemouth and Poole area. We are a long standing, small carpentry business and have trained apprentices for many years. You will be roofing, first fixing and second fixing.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Total hours per week: 42.5
(the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

- First fixing
- Second fixing

Training will take place one day a week at the Bournemouth and Poole college and on site for four days a week, working towards a level 2 carpentry apprenticeship.

- Level 3 apprenticeship

Adjustments for experience
You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
- qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field
- industry or sector experience

If your application is successful, you will have a chance to discuss your relevant prior learning or experience with your training provider and employer. You will all need to agree any adjustments to your training plan.
