What you will do in your working day
Duties to include:
- Handling racehorses
- Mucking out
- Grooming
- Accompanying horses to the races
The candidate must ride to a good standard and preferably be under 10 stone to ride the horses.
Must be willing to learn, enthusiastic and reliable.
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Equine city and guilds qualification on successful completion
- Functional Skills (if required)
- Four weekly visits from Haddon Training Trainer Coach at the workplace
- Daily mentoring within the workplace
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Training and progression on to the level 3 senior equine groom.
