This is an Apprentice role. You will be trained to operate our new Laser Cutter and Press Brake. This is a great opportunity for a committed, passionate and ambitious person as you will be supported to progress to an advanced Apprenticeship and potentially higher Apprenticeship as a long-term career pathway.

What you will do in your working day
Main Duties to Include:
- To program the software of the laser and press brake in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Issue route and planning cards - set up plans, production paperwork and drawings for the operator.
- Liaise with the laser operator and production team regarding priorities.
The training you will be getting
Level 2 Engineering Operative Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills if required.
Apprenticeship learning will take place in the workplace and day release to Rochdale Training, details to be confirmed with the Employer.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Once qualified, progression is offered to the correct candidate, this could include progressing to a higher level and ultimately being employed as a full-time member of staff.
