What you will do in your working day
Duties and responsibilities:
- Interact and support children of all age groups as required
- Provide high quality care and activities for children which
recognize both individual and group requirements - Work alongside parents and other family members and make them feel welcome
- To be involved in out of work activities e.g. staff training
courses - Ensure the highest standard of child safety is always
paramount within the nursery - Complete relevant paperwork associated with the children
and nursery requirements.
The training you will be getting
You will work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification and will work towards Paediatric First Aid Qualification.
Apprentices who have not achieved the equivalent of level 2 in
maths and English, must achieve these prior to end point assessment.
