What you will do in your working day
- Work as part of our team; responsible for the day to day care & maintenance of the horses.
- Carry out all normal yard duties to an industry standard; mucking out, feeding, grooming, tacking up and tack cleaning.
- Carry out show prep including plating, clipping/trimming and washing off.
- Assist with the movement of horses either turning out and bringing in or loading/unloading.
- There will be opportunities to ride & travel for the right candidate.
The training you will be getting
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Equine Groom Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.

- Ideally the employer would like to keep someone on and watch them further their skills and develop in this team to a specialist area.
