What you will do in your working day

We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Chef.

We need enthusiastic, committed individuals with a desire to develop and succeed.

You’ll also ensure high standards of hygiene whilst ensuring at all times that legal requirements are strictly adhered to. You must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

To be trained in the following job duties:

  • Supporting the chef in all areas
  • Preparing a variety of food items
  • Using a variety of kitchen equipment as and when trained
  • Unloading, checking and storing deliveries
  • Cleaning

The training you will be getting

  • Day Release at Middlesbrough College
  • Level 2 Qualification as a Production Chef 
  • On the job training

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.
