What you will do in your working day
- Maintain an efficient and effective practice appointment system
- Receive patients/visitors promptly and courteously
- Receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls ensuring timely and appropriate communication. Take accurate messages, give information and advice in a manner responsive to customer needs
- Receive patient requests for prescriptions and process them electronically monitoring compliance with medication
- Scan and summarise all correspondence and enter in the correct medical record
- Deal with incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain practice filing systems

Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
