What you will do in your working day
The successful applicant will be workshop based, cutting and processing of double glazed units. Their duties:
- Cut and shape glass with machinery and tooling
- Gain an understanding of company's products and the materials used.
- Assembly of units and applying edge sealing
- Applying additional material for effects
- Toughening activities
The training you will be getting
Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Lean Manufacturing, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
