What you will do in your working day

Duties:

  • To develop your role within the team, especially with regard to being a key worker
  • To keep good records of the children
  • Maintain good relationships with parents and children
  • Assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children
  • To be aware of the nurseries policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Qualification
  • Paediatric First Aid Qualification
  • Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking their end point assessment

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • A full-time position at the nursery and pathways for continuous professional development are available for staff to progress

Things to consider

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
