What you will do in your working day
Working as the Semi – assistant role you will join a busy team who will provide support and assistance to you.
You will also assist with client enquiries and deal with HMRC, so good communication is key.
This is a great opportunity to work in an Accountancy Practice. Especially if you’re looking to start your ACCA studies with the long-term view of becoming an Accountant.
Duties Include:
• BookKeeping and administrative duties
• Reconciling invoices and Bank Balances
Accounts preparation and CT600
• Producing client accounts, Limited Company, partnership and Sole Trade.
• Dealing with client’s payroll, producing and filling.
• Working on Digita, Excel, Sage, Word, Xero and other Accountancy software.
• Assisting with client’s query queries and communicating with HMRC.
• Assisting with all other areas of practice.
The training you will be getting
Working towards the AAT Level 4 qualification on an apprenticeship with Solveway, you will receive classroom training every Wednesday at our training centre in Hertfordshire (sessions can be accessed via Microsoft Teams too if needed) by our highly qualified FCCA tutor.
Functional skills if required.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Willingness to start a career in Accountancy with AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification, eventually willing to become a Chartered Accountant.
