About the employer

Country estates are part of England’s rich heritage and Wyndham Trenython Manor, one of 13 branded IDILIQ Hotels & Resorts, is an architectural treasure, built in 1872 within the grounds of a private 24-acre estate. The elegant manor house has been lovingly restored and sympathetically converted to a hotel and luxury lodge resort, and many of its historic features, including intricately carved oak panelling, sweeping staircases, decorative ceilings and marble columns, have been carefully preserved. Today guests enjoy the highest level of modern comfort and an array of superb facilities designed to entertain all the family during a short break, spa weekend or longer holiday in Cornwall. DA KONA RESTAURANT Up the ante with a fine-dining experience in our characterful restaurant, with carved oak walls that were added to the manor in 1891. The menu showcases ingredients like locally caught crab and seabass. For meat lovers our beef is Cornish bred and sourced by Tywardreath butchers less than half a mile from our front door. In the evening’s join us for our entertainment nights. Jazz from our resident duo Jumping Out, quiz nights and fun family events. DU MAURIER ROOM For those who like a more casual approach to dining, the Du Maurier Room is the place to be. Offering lunch and early dinner the dishes include delicious nibbles and starters like mushroom arancini or grilled king prawn skewer, home-made burgers, stone baked pizzas, or treat your taste buds to a great selection of main dishes to choose from (please note our menus do change on a regular basis). When the weather is pleasant, sit outside on the terrace and soak up the incredible, ever-changing views over St Austell Bay.
