You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and an interest in education within the Northeast. Duties include printing, photocopying, filing and other general administration and collating and sorting data on spreadsheets and analysing where necessary.

What you will do in your working day

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with buckets of initiative. You will have an eye for detail and a high level of concentration. You will be creative and support the Marketing team with graphic content for social media, scheduling and video creation. You work on some of our internal systems: updating databases, responding to emails, tracking, monitoring and analysing communications platforms. At our events you will play an important team role supporting the events team.

  • Providing a high quality service to our members/customers and to internal colleagues and visitors to our offices
  • Assisting with the organisation of meetings; booking of accommodation and travel arrangements
  • Typing correspondence and assisting with the production of business documents
  • Printing, photocopying, filing and other general administration
  • Collating and sorting data on spreadsheets and analysing where necessary
  • Reviewing and distributing incoming emails
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the CRM system
  • Reception and registration at events and conferences
  • Creating graphics to use on social media
  • Assisting in the creation of video content
  • Planning, scheduling and monitoring content on social media platforms
  • Work as an integral member of a small team, willing to undertake tasks as needed to deliver the aims of Schools Northeast and Schools Northeast Trading Ltd and deemed appropriate to this role including supporting effective engagement and awareness campaigns

Things to consider

When attending events and conferences you may be required to work outside of the standard office hours. You must be able to get to the office in Newcastle city centre on a daily basis.
