What will the apprentice be doing?

Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Ledger - Authorisation and posting of purchase invoices monthly.
  • Reconciliation with supplier statements.
  • Monthly payment runs (supported by remittance slips)
    Filing of purchase invoices.
  • Responding to internal inquiries.
  • Managing the supplier ledger making sure there are no old outstanding items.
  • Liaising with suppliers and the central parts/claims teams
    Ad-hoc - Adding purchase invoices onto I-Image / banking and other analysis when needed.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the full AAT Level 3 qualification.

The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
