What you will do in your working day

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Meet and greet clients in a friendly manner and be courteous at all times.
  • Taking care of clients in the salon.
  • Offer refreshments and magazines to clients.
  • Provide shampooing and conditioning treatments to clients.
  • Assist the stylists with client services.
  • Maintain salon cleanliness and work areas.
  • Answer telephone calls.

You will receive training away from the salon attending one day a week off site at our training salon where you will experience high quality training and learning from our well-established hair industry experts who help you achieve your goals and the Hair Professional apprenticeship.

Hairdressing Professional Standard.
Level 2 Diploma for Hair Professionals (Hairdressing/Barbering) 

All apprentices will complete the core skills and knowledge (Part 1) and will choose the occupational option route for hairdressing or barbering (Part 2) Part 1 – mandatory core skills and knowledge for hairdressing and barbering
