We are looking for a someone with drive and ambition, who will be able to work independently and confidently. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the role is responsible for sales support to our customers and ensuring they receive efficient service. In addition the role supports our National Account Managers and Web Manager.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Dealing with order processing and ensuring relevant information/pricing is input on to the customer orders and order confirmations are sent if required.
- Telephone and email enquiries which must be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
- New product information is completed when required by customers.
- Orders are followed up to ensure they are delivered when required.
- Preparing customer article create forms,
- Producing customer quotations from our systems and working to margins advised by the National Accounts Managers where applicable.
- Informing customers of delivery or stock issues if relevant. Stock information is obtained from stock control and advised to customers or account managers upon request.
Critical path control sheets or customer specific tracking shipments, is completed and updated on a weekly basis and communicated to customers where relevant.
Samples of stock to be organised for meetings and sent out to customers then checked that they have been received.
Web and ecommerce orders are logged and samples collected if necessary.
Correspondence is checked and relevant brochures, quotations, images are sent.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful candidate will study a Level 3 Business Administrator Standard.
Functional skills in English and maths if required.
This will be aided by an assessor who will carry out all assessments as work-based learning within the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
The applicant will the follow on to a Level 2 or 3 Customer Services Qualification.
