What will the apprentice be doing?

The Wood Machinist Apprenticeship would involve training within all furniture manufacturing areas including our three C.N.C machining centres. You will work within all departments, learning all areas, giving a good understanding of products and processes.
Initial duties to include:-

• Moving product
• Learning the product range
• Unloading deliveries
• Packing product
• Learning CNC machines

We are only a small team, with a wealth of experience, in making furniture. You will have a mentor who will guide and support you, as you learn all the processes.
Additional training within our final build and inspection areas will be undertaken along side production planning to gain a balanced understanding of the companies day to day operations.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship in Furniture Manufacturing, including NVQ and functional skills maths and English. Work based learning.
