What will the apprentice be doing?
- The candidate will be assigned to our senior surveyor within the company, assisting with the day to day monitoring of the project requirements.
- Visiting each project weekly or monthly to attend construction phase meetings, programming meetings, design meetings, and pre-start meetings.
- Candidates will in additional spend some appropriate time on site with the most senior site managers, to learn the working procedures of projects, and to build relationships with sub-contractors, and our directly employed workforce.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The company will be flexibly regarding a candidate doing either block or day release study. After successfully completed the level 4 qualification, a further opportunity to progress to study a full degree, in either quantity surveying or project management will be made available. Additional training and qualifications will be provide such as SMSTS.
