What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately putting new matters onto our Case Management System (Proclaim)
  • Scanning on new incoming post onto the system on a daily basis
  • Taking incoming telephone calls and dealing with client queries/update requests
  • Weighing and franking mail and ensuring it is sent out on a daily basis
  • Managing a spreadsheet of new cases coming in from different sources
  • Writing out cheques and dealing with various invoices
  • Filing cases away into cabinets
  • Managing stationery and replenishing the same
  • Making appointments and arrange meetings as appropriate
  • Undertaking a range of tasks as directed including fee earner tasks and under close supervision
  • Maintaining and developing communication between fee earners, staff and representatives
