What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Support the Pension Scheme Administrators with general administration duties in relation to Pension Trustee work
  • Screen all telephone calls and handle them appropriately 
  • Deal with correspondence including writing letters and emails
  • Produce and issue invoices for rental properties 
  • Produce and issue fee invoices and ensure payment is received
  • Organise and update relevant data using back office database applications
  • Analyse bank transactions and upload data to back office database
  • Open and scan post and distribute to staff
  • Collating information for VAT returns

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • The course is delivered remotely and consists of remote workshops, progress reviews and projects
  • The course is 12 months + 6 months end point assessment 
  • You will be assigned a specialist Trainer and Skills Coach to support you through the course as well as on the job training

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • There are no specific qualifications required to be a Pension Scheme Administrator however, there are various opportunities within the Company to progress following successful completion of the Apprenticeship
