What will the apprentice be doing?

The apprentice will be:

  • Dispensing prescriptions, blister packs, processing owings
  • Maintaining stock counts, preparing medication deliveries and gaining the experience to manage the pharmacy’s day to day dispensary tasks
  • Training will also be provided in services such as blood pressure testing and vaccinations

  • General Pharmaceutical Council
    Functional Skills maths and English Level 1 and/or Level 2, as appropriate
