What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To support the payroll function within the BSC
    Learn to use relevant Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word)
  • Learn to use bespoke systems to carry out your duties such as SAP
  • Liaise with external and internal customers via e-mail and telephone on payroll related matters
  • Input various forms into the payroll system with a high degree of
  • Provide all required administrative support relating to payroll and
    pensions and the wider BSC

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Whilst working in the payroll and pensions teams by completing an NVQ level 3 in Payroll and Pensions Administration
  • May need to attend college to complete functional skills one day a week

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to complete a higher level apprenticeship or a permanent role.
