What you will do in your working day

  • To assist with all aspects of care for the customer in line with their care plans
  • To assist in updating care plans through communicating changes to the office team as required
  • To write daily notes and record care details
  • To raise any concerns with the care manager
  • To undertake and complete all relevant training
  • To communicate effectively with customers, their families and others involved in care delivery with the support of the care manager
  • To be an ambassador for the company
  • It is important to be a caring person with good customer service skills and good levels of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks as detailed on the care plans and via the care management system
  • To be proactive and to pay attention to details and customer needs
  • Team player who is self-motivated
  • Ability to input to and maintain records

Things to consider

DBS and training is necessary for this role. You will need to be able to maintain confidentiality. You will need transport to get to the customers’ homes where care is provided. This can be public transport, bicycle, car, bus.

We need great admin to assist the Care Manager to ensure compliance with our regulating body – CQC. The successful candidate will help with all areas of record keeping, scheduling and responding to enquiries. The role of Administrative Assistant is varied and will give opportunity for the candidate to work directly with carers, the Owner/Director, Care Manager, Scheduler/Administrator.
