What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Early Years Apprentice your role will involve:-

  • Working with children from 3 months to 5 years old
  • Supporting the staff as a member of the team and assisting where required
  • Planning, setting up and taking part in activities.
  • Following our policies and procedures
  • Update daily childcare diaries.
  • Assist with changing routines and personal hygiene.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of toys and nursery equipment

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Full Level 2 apprenticeship
  • Early years practioner standard
  • Functional skills if applicable.
  • First aid qualification
