What will the apprentice be doing?
- Processsing and analysing client data on a daily basis
- Assistance in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- You will gain experience working with a wide range of clients covering all aspects of accounts preparation, VAT, payroll, corporate tax, personal and business tax.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Assistant Account Level 3 giving you the Assistant Account Level 3 qualification on completion.
- The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and day release college attendance once a week.
- Full training and support will be given on a daily basis, together with release to college as appropriate to complete your AAT qualification. Training will be one day a week at Yeovil College.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Level 4 Apprenticeship and then the possibility of going on to do further tax or accounting qualifications.
